The accommodation complex is owned by the Fattoria Antico Castello di Poppiano winery which has been producing Chianti DOCG and IGT for decades. In the wine cellar located just in front of the swimming pool, you can sample three varieties of red wines and taste our extra-virgin olive oil. We can also organize visits to other local wineries renowned for the production of fine wines.

Near the estate, there is a wonderful riding school with many horses cared for by highly qualified staff. Ideal for horse-riding enthusiasts but also for less-experienced riders keen to discover the paths and beautiful villages of the Tuscan countryside on horseback.
The estate is completely surrounded by woodlands. Every day you can explore the surrounding area following a different route through the thick vegetation to discover hidden paths and even come across wild animals such as roe deer, wild boar, pheasants or porcupines. We can suggest panoramic routes that will lead you to small towns, or you can choose to roam as you please, without a precise destination in mind, letting your instincts guide you as you explore the Chianti landscape.
